Calling all artists and crafts people !!
The Pioneer Historical Society (PHS) will host the
Fourth Annual Art Show and Craft Festival
May 6th and 7th at the Telfair Center for the Arts.
“We had such a great turnout of talented artists last year, and based on feedback from the crowd who attended the show, the Art Committee decided to change things a little this year” said Robert Herndon, President of The PHS and a member of the Art Committee planning team. “This year we’re including crafts, live music, and also plan to have art activities and demonstrations as well as food for sale. There are many talented artists and crafts people in the area and we would like to invite them to exhibit at the show.”
Anyone interested in exhibiting their original art or crafts should visit the contact Jeannie Flick, Art Show Committee Chair, at email address firstname.lastname@example.org or, any member of the Art Show Committee: Mae Branyan, Sarah Bowen, Eileen Cline, Robert Herndon, or Rip Maneely. Each Exhibitor will be required to complete an Exhibitor Request Form. Exhibit space is limited, so don’t delay!
The show this year will benefit The Telfair Center for the Arts (TCA). The TCA building is a beautiful historic building that is an asset to our community. The building is expensive to maintain and funds raised will help with ongoing maintenance of the building and with costs of bringing events to our local area. We are requesting a minimum $10.00 donation per exhibit space for this worthy cause. To learn more about this historic building and upcoming events visit the website http://tcfta.com.
If you're not an artist or craftsperson, mark your calendar now to attend this community event and support the gifted artists and crafts people in our local area!
