SUMMARY Must have a good understanding of the entire golf operation. Provides a safe and enjoyable golf experience for all members and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. • Have a full understanding of all computerized programs utilized in the golf operation. • Designs, promotes and directs all golf activities. • Organizes and maintains tee sheets and third-party reservations. Participates in Yield Management of the golf course • Participates in the preparation of the annual budgets for golf operations, and administers same. • Orders supplies associated with golf activities. • Maintain an attractive, orderly appearance in the pro shop and offices. Assists in retail orders, displays, and sales goals. • Supervises pro shop staff, maintenance of golf carts, rangers, starters, and bag attendants. • Provide training and a good work environment for all staff. • Maintains and supervises cart barn and club storage facility. • Organizes and conducts club tournaments, outings, and league play. • Interprets and enforces golf rules and regulations. • Interprets and enforces club policies, rules, and regulations as well as markings of the course. • Provide first-class member service. • Works closely with club staff and committees on planning member events. • Performs at all times in a professional manner. Must be a team player. • Enforce and administer club attire policies. • Monitors and reacts to pace of play on a daily basis. • Monitor tee sheet on a daily basis and ensure accurate record keeping of club assets. • Abide by the employee handbook, service systems, and SOP manuals • Any other duties as assigned by the General Manager. • Monitors weather conditions and reacts accordingly.

Salaried "Exempt" position
The Golf Course Superintendent will report to the General Manager and has support from our Corporate Director of Agronomics. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and condition of the golf course. The Superintendent will also take responsibility for managing and maintaining club property which includes equipment, maintenance facility, open spaces, wooded areas, and other properties specified by club officials. The Superintendent will be accountable to protect the company’s assets while ensuring maximum member and guest satisfaction.
HOURS/DAYS The successful candidate must be willing to maintain flexible availability and will work weekends and holidays as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES *Interview, hire, direct and supervise a staff of employees for the purpose of maintaining the golf course. Annually review all subordinates for performance, strengths, and weaknesses and provide feedback to make improvements. *Develop standard operating procedures that correspond with the maintenance of the golf course and follow the departments', company philosophy. *Develop comprehensive training for golf course workers regarding the required maintenance and safe operation of equipment and other tools used in golf course maintenance. *Plan professional development and training activities for self and subordinates by attending turf conferences, equipment shows, workshops, and other educational programs to maintain current knowledge of technical and turf innovations and changes that could affect the departments' operation. *Oversee the scheduling and routing of personnel and equipment to accomplish work. *Inspect the golf course and related areas to evaluate how well management standards are being achieved and to effect changes in management programs if needed. *Plans all maintenance and project work, applying his agronomic and administrative expertise to achieve agreed-upon maintenance standards. *Take the lead in the establishment of short and long-term plans for the golf course. *Develop and maintain drainage, irrigation, and water systems. *Acquires equipment and purchases necessary supplies to maintain the golf course. Will execute the purchase order system accurately and by established procedures. *Oversee the equipment maintenance and repair programs. *Oversee all chemical and fertilizer applications. *Maintain inventory controls and approve all expenditures while exercising cost control measures to keep operating and capital expenses in line with approved budgets *Keep accurate and complete records on payroll, inventory, weather data, pesticide/fertilizer applications, maintenance procedures, and pumping reports. *Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for maintenance and capital improvements. *Must be in compliance and support a drug-free workplace. *Must have a professional and courteous personality and be able to intelligently communicate with guests and staff. *Must be a pro-active member of the management team: able to generate thoughts and ideas that result in increased financial efficiency and effectiveness. *Provide accurate and timely information to staff members to facilitate communication and the flow of information. *Will assist and influence safety-related training programs and illustrate its importance through demonstrated support. *Supervise the general safety and security of the maintenance facility, accepting responsibility for the security of the buildings and their assets. *Will attend all necessary meetings as appropriately directed. *Daily accomplishment of a clean, healthy, and safe working environment, one that abides by this department, OSHA, and all local, state, and federal standards. *Exhibit proactive leadership as it relates to the areas of environmental responsibility. *Will follow all corporate, resort, park, and departmental policies and procedures in a strict manner and require the same from staff.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associates in Science or equivalent in a turf-related field; or five (5) years experience in a turf-related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires basic computer skills as it relates to industry-specific technology. Must possess the ability to learn and efficiently utilize Word, Excel, out Outlook (email).
COMPENSATION: Annual salary commensurate with experience. The Golf Course Superintendent pays is $60,000 for an experienced Superintendent.

Position Summary: Under the direction of the General Manager, the Chief Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the Facility Operations department including proper operation, repair, and maintenance of all refrigeration, ventilation, heating, and mechanical equipment. Develops, coordinates, and monitors a maintenance program to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests and staff. Secures and protects the facility's assets, including buildings and equipment.
Chief Responsibilities: Directly supervises Maintenance Technicians within the Facility Operations department. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience:
A High School degree or equivalent vocational training is required. 3+ years experience in a Property Operations/Engineering department, preferably within a resort setting. Any of the following certifications are preferred: Certified Pool Operator and Trade Certifications such as HVAC or Electrician. 3+ years of management / supervisory experience.
Working knowledge of:
plumbing codes national/local fire codes blueprints and plumbing and wiring schematics power and hand tools, meters, etc. as it relates to the technical trades knowledge of all mechanical equipment critical to the operation of the building. HVAC or Electrical experience preferred local mechanical codes electrical codes
Key Relationships: Division managers, resort guests, and visitors, equipment/supply vendors, city inspectors, local fire departments, building trade contractors, service contractors, etc.
Compensation: The salary is $50,000 annually plus a home with all utilities paid. (except cable and internet)
