Georgia's Enterprise Network for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (GENIE)
Georgia Southern's Bureau of Business Research and Economic Development (BBRED) secured funding from the US Community Adjustment and Investment Bank to help rural counties in Georgia grow and retain jobs.
Georgia Enterprise Network for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (GENIE) is a virtual incubator linking small businesses in rural Georgia to resources at Georgia Southern. Since GENIE is a virtual web-based incubator, it allows businesses in economically challenged counties in rural Georgia access to valuable information and professional services from Georgia Southern's City Campus in downtown Statesboro.
With GENIE's virtual incubator, small business owners have access to timely economic information and receive technical assistance from skilled business advisors. Wheter it's accounting, human resources, marketing, financing or other business topics, GENIE has the resources and expertise to help start and/or grow your business.
The best part of this program is that it's FREE to businesses located in TELFAIR COUNTY!
Visit the GENIE Website for more information: GENIE
