Launch Location: Hinson's Landing (Jeff Davis County)
Take-out Location: Town's Bluff Landing (Jeff Davis County)
The paddle will begin on the Ocmulgee River traveling through the confluence of the Ocmulgee and Oconee Rivers where the Altamaha River begins.
The last leg of the paddle will be on the Altamaha River. Approximatley a 7 mile paddle.
Paddlers must provide their own watercraft & paddle, life jacket, snacks, lunch & drinks during the paddle. Free Shuttle service will be provided from the take-out location back to the launch location.
Directions to Hinson’s Landing (Registration/Launch Location)
From Lumber City: From Hwy 341, turn onto Hwy 19 and travel 2.2 miles and take a right onto Bells Ferry Road. Travel Bells Ferry Road for 8.8 miles to the intersection of Bells Ferry Road and Hwy 221 (caution light). Turn right onto Hwy 221 and travel 4.2 miles and turn right onto Towns Bluff Road (Cotton Patch sign). Travel Towns Bluff Road for 3 miles and turn right onto Hinson’s Landing Road (Outback Serenity). Travel .9 mile to Hinson’s Landing.
From City of Uvalda: Travel Hwy 221 South for 7.2 miles and turn right onto Towns Bluff Road (Cotton Patch sign). Travel Towns Bluff Road for 3 mile and turn right onto Hinson’s Landing Road (Outback Serenity). Travel .9 mile to Hinson’s Landing.
From City of Hazlehurst: From the intersection of Hwy 341 and Hwy 221, turn onto Hwy 221 North and travel 1.7 miles and turn left on Hallspur Road. Travel 2.1 miles and turn left onto Towns Bluff Road. Travel Towns Bluff Road for .6 miles and turn right onto Hinson’s Landing Road (Outback Serenity). Travel .9 mile to Hinson’s Landing.

Day of Paddle Registration
Day of paddle registration begins at 8 a.m. Forms will be provided on site.
Day of paddle payment must be made in exact cash or check. No cards or PayPal accepted day of paddle.
